From Galer\u00edas Pac\u00edfico to Plaza San Mart\u00edn and Puerto Madero, there\u2019s plenty to do without having to go too far.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Florida Street is one of the most famous pedestrian streets in Buenos Aires.<\/p>\n<p>Its location lets you combine shopping, architecture, parks, and walks to Retiro or Puerto Madero all in one outing.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re in the area, here are a few places worth adding to your itinerary.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Galer\u00edas Pac\u00edfico<\/strong><br \/>\nIt\u2019s located at 753 Florida Street.<\/p>\n<p>The building was constructed in 1889 and is now one of the city\u2019s most famous shopping centers. Its centerpiece is the central dome, decorated with murals by Argentine artists such as Antonio Berni, Lino Enea Spilimbergo, Demetrio Urruch\u00faa, and Juan Carlos Castagnino.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s worth stopping by even if you don\u2019t plan on shopping.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Plaza San Mart\u00edn<\/strong><br \/>\nContinuing along Florida Street toward Retiro, you\u2019ll reach Plaza San Mart\u00edn.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s one of the city center\u2019s largest green spaces, and from its embankment you can enjoy views of Retiro and Puerto Madero.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a good place to take a break before continuing your walk.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.
